“Stripped of ethical rationalizations and philosophical pretensions, a crime is anything that a group in power chooses to prohibit.” -Freda Adler
dialogue can change the world. the first word and the last word can create hope or destroy peace. we believe in conversation that begins with commonality. words that work towards something together rather than against one another. we believe the world was made to be a place where we all can find ways to build into it rather than tear it apart. we believe things like poverty, war, violence, hatred do not have the last word. we believe that working together is a good place to start. so we welcome all those from any faith-tradition or no-faith-tradition or from any lifestyle to come and join this perpetual movement of hope.
this a project that invites people from all religious backgrounds and different lifestyles to come together and focus all of our energies on what we have in common and use that commonality to be a sort of UN with an intentional ethos to heal and redeem dark situations within a global context. think the UN with a religious ethos. think the ONE campaign but with feet. think the Jesus movement without the politics. think Ghandi, Mohammed, Buddha, and Jesus (to name a few) sitting in the same room and asking ‘how can we work together?’ we believe everyone has value regardless of their backgrounds, lifestyles, or religious affiliations. we believe everyone can change the world. this is an intiative to work together. to use out interdependence as a tool for healing the world. healing the broken. creating peace in otherwise dark places. to love the unlovable. this all has to start somewhere. we believe it starts with words. words can heal, create worlds or destroy hope. we want to use them to find what we all have in common to build hope as a reality for everyone to come and join in.
we would love to partner with you and find ways to work together to seek ways to help those in need. our ethos is one where you belong before we even know your name. you are acceptable. and accepted. get in touch with us and let’s see how we can partner.

3 Questions about CFD:
(1) Who are you?
well, we’re an organization the believes that the first step to any kind of change is to talk about it. to realize it. give it a name and then find people who are just as passionate as we are and get them in the same room to use whatever resources are at our disposal. we’re also big on inclusion. we have a history that we need to reconcile with. we have spent a lot of our energy killing, discussing, arguing and violently convincing ourselves that our worldview is better than the next person. we ask the question, why? why do we need to continue in this way? we don’t. if we think we do, we have come to believe the lie that we don’t need each other. this is what we’re about. using our similarities to come together and find relevant ways to find relevant answers to the needs of the world. this is what we’re about–love and hope interactively breathing life into all we say and do no matter what religion, lifestyle, worldview you hold to. you have what it takes to change the world.
(2) What do we do?
We partner with big organizations, small ones, political ones, individuals, churches, mosques, temples, government agencies, peer constituents, newsrooms, newspapers, humanitarian organizations and so on. We all get together and use our resources to find ways to culturally respond to the practical needs under the umbrella of human rights. Human rights is such a broad category (as our initiative is still quite new, we are stil gaining speed in this area) that it could include finding sustainable means to such things as: World Debt, Poverty, Sex Trafficking, Inclusion, Gender Rights, and more will be added as groups are added.
(3) What can I do to support the cause
As always finances are a good way to support us. If you pray, then prayer works as well. If you meditate, then meditate for us too. Awareness is another big way to support the movement. Use your Facebooks, Myspaces, Twitters, Bebo’s, Linked In’s and all the others out there including your blogs. Tell the person that you randomly meet walking down the street. You support is important to us. Thank you for believing in us. If you have another idea on how to support us or a skill you think we could use, contact us.
